If the attire is "business casual" can I wear jeans with nice shoes and a nice shirt? Or black jeans?

Or a somewhat fancy dress?

This is a restaurant with a bar and lounge.

or you could go with a simple skirt. one of the "day to evening" dresses is appropriate also. (and they are only like 20$!!) just consider the weather- it might get too chill at night for a skirt.
Reply:You can wear Dockers and a nice collared shirt no sneakers
Reply:Jeans would come under a "casual" heading and not a "business casual" one. "Business casual" is more of a middle-of-the-road situation where you don't have to dress to the 9's but are still not totally casual. For men this would likely be slacks and a shirt (but no tie) or a golf shirt etc.
Reply:Business casual does not include jeans... You could get away with kakis or slacks with a nice shirt.
Reply:business casual does not include jeans at all.

wear some black or khaki pants with a nice shirt. a dress isn't really casual, but if it's not too fancy, i think it'd be ok. a skirt would be good too.
Reply:Wear khakis or similar.
Reply:no jeans.

You could wear kacki's or dress pants usually.
Reply:No jeans! Business casual does not ever include jeans. Opt for a dress or skirt (not fancy or overly dressy). You'll look biz casual and put together at the same time.
